Our Story

Ten years ago, Clif and Nikki Fodge, along with Harold Clark & his wife Shannon recognized the pleasures and fun of fine wine, smooth spirits, and an extraordinary culinary experience that was especially appealing to the eye.

This led to what we affectionately called “Sexy Plating” with a group of close friends which involved wine & food pairings that were as appealing to the eye as they were to the tastebuds and nose.

People are drawn to food with their eyes. As everyone knows, “You eat with your eyes first”. Clif, being an advanced photographer, would take wonderful pictures of the food and wine pairings as each course was presented. There may not have been a “winner” dish, but we all learned about presentation & eye appeal.

The social experience of fine dining with good wine & spirits with family and friends became the highlight of our maturing years. Our group dinners covered the whole fine dining experience. We started with an Amuse Buche and ended with a decadent dessert. Rest assured, all the food and wine in between were just as exceptional and beautifully done, of course not without our share of goofs. Often the various courses were presented on a stunning charcuterie board or a perfectly cooked prime rib may have been presented on a beautiful cutting board.

Presentation can make every host a culinary wizard by creating an appetizing charcuterie board with your choice of delectable food or walking to the table with your favorite entrée on a custom cutting board made and finished just for you.

These experiences led us to create a line of beautiful charcuterie boards, tasteful cutting boards and decorative serving trays that you will want to both use and display. Each one is unique and designed to meet your sense of beauty.

Our boards are both useful and beautiful. With the proper minimal care, they will last for many years and could become a favored heirloom harboring memories of your favorite family gatherings.

Our cutting boards include matching color standoff rails which can be used to raise the board above the counter. The benefit to you… use one side of the cutting board for chopping and cutting then; when not in use, reverse it for display in your kitchen with matching color easels. One board with two benefits.
